Homeowners associations can take part in water-saving efforts through programs and rebates available from Thornton Water.
HOA Rebates
Thornton Water offers a variety of rebates to assist Homeowners associations (HOAs) in reducing their water consumption, both outdoors and indoors.
This program offers water rebates to HOAs in the Thornton water service area to replace fixtures with WaterSense-labeled toilets. For the replacement of installed toilets only, not for new construction. Must be WaterSense-certified toilets. Standard 1.6 or dual flush toilets on the WaterSense list do not qualify.
This program offers rebates to HOA accounts in the Thornton water service area for installing EPA WaterSense-certified smart irrigation controllers. These WaterSense-labeled products, independently tested and certified to be 20% more efficient than the standard product, can significantly reduce water usage and costs. Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to the availability of funds.
HOA Irrigation Controller Rebate Information, Rules, & Application
Our goal is to incentivize water demand reduction on irrigated landscapes from 0.5 to 5 acres. Your project may qualify for a grant that offers 50 percent of the cost of design, renovation, and installation, up to $10,000 per acre. Funds are subject to availability and provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

HOA Services

Free sprinkler consultations and a personalized watering schedule are available to Thornton Water customers through Resource Central.

View your Water Smart Reports on your utility billing page, and use Waterfluence to help you budget your water use.
Waterfluence is a free service to improve irrigation efficiency for commercial and public customers by monitoring water use, providing insights, and connecting property managers with critical information. Contact us if you are interested in enrolling.
